Michigan's Lower Peninsula has seen flooding in urban areas, large hail and freezing rain over the last 24-hours.

Severe Thunderstorm Warnings are being issued across parts of West Michigan and Southwest Michigan Tuesday night as a series of supercell storms are creating some dangerous conditions. Heavy rainfall and huge hail - some measuring nearly 3 inches across - are being reported across West Michigan.

Southeast Michigan is facing several weather risks tonight into early Wednesday, including the potential for damaging wind, large hail, heavy rain, and even an isolated tornado, but the exact area that the severe weather will hit is dependent on a warm front.

Officals said there's an enhanced risk on Michigan's southwestern tip, slight risk for the central, lower part.

A tornado watch is now in effect for far southwest Michigan. A severe thunderstorm watch is also in effect from Iowa to part of Michigan. There are expectations of a few tornadoes, which could be intense.
